I've been woodworking for around a decade. I make mainly smaller items -- jewelry boxes and such. I'm a big believer in using the best wood I can possibly find and then doing as little as possible to screw it up...

Walnut & Spalted Pecan box for my dad, made from the same boards as the spicebox to my right.

Bocote & Spalted Pecan spice box made for my mom.

Mahagony, Satinwood & Ebony replica of the desk upon which Thomas Jefferson wrote the Declaration of Independence. Made for my wife, the colonial scholar.

Cocobolo & Zebrawood jewelry chest made for my mom. So large that she's using it as an end table now.

Cherry, Walnut Burl & Cocobolo tea chest made for my sister.

Mahagony & Ebony cradle made for a friend.

Walnut & Curly Birdseye Maple jewelry chest made for a friend.
